Just a regular high school friend. Joined the same extracurricular but had a different world.
To her, he is a genius. A top-tier student who knows what he really wants to pursue in life. He is a quiet person in the forum, but he is outstanding when it comes to solving complicated things. He is generous in helping but not much in smiling.
To him, she is bright and overhype. She is a dramatic person whose expressions can be read easily. She is friendly and reliable, having some wide circles that sometimes make him a bit intimidated to be around her.
2012-2015
2015-2022
They had different journeys. Not a perfect stranger, but not close enough to ask how life is going.
At the end of 2022, they met again, the first hello after a long time.
To her, he is still a good person, way better at socializing, but the cool-type- way persists. His genuine feeling is hardly recognized. He is more mature and spontaneous than before, but she thinks he will never cross the "friendzone" line.
To him, she is still that expressive and talkative person. He just found that she is also sensitive and impulsive. Her carefulness in keeping the shari'a is out of his mind. Day by day, he realizes she is worth fighting for.
One fine afternoon, He said
"Mungkin gak aku mengajak kamu berkenalan untuk tujuan pernikahan?"
She was a bit shocked, but he was so sure.
And it started with "Bismillah, jawabannya boleh". One thing they agreed to do was to keep it in a halal way.

To him, asking permission was his biggest confession in life.
To her, agreeing with the proposal was her most significant decision in life.
The day they will tie the knot in front of Allah and the people they love. May Allah continuously strengthen their faith and bless them in every path they spend together.
